Chalk sound is beautiful. The color of the water is gorgeous. It looks like a postcard. It's definitely worth the drive regardless of where you are staying on the island.

Words and pictures cannot do it justice. It is so beautiful! I recommend eating lunch at Las Brisas to absorb the colors and beauty while you eat.

We rented a car and drove around stopping to take pictures at Chalk Sound where we could. Most of it is private access only to the water itself. Absolutely stunning colors and great pictures!

We parked our car nearby the Chalk Sound Drive to see Chalk Sound up close. It is a good place to come and take some photos. The water is a surreal color of blue that I have never seen. But it should not take more...More

We went kayaking and paddle boarding. Also had Father's day brunch. Beautiful, out of the way place with a great view of the Sound.

We just love this place! After a disappointing snorkeling tour the previous day, I wavered a bit on booking another tour on the water. However, going on the pontoon ride with the phenomenal views, meeting our humorous tour guide (Edwin) & seeing his interaction with...More

We took the two hour pontoon ride in chalk sound out of Las Brisas and thought it was one of the highlights of the trip. The crew was entertaining and informative and we enjoyed the trip immensely.

We stayed at Grace Bay and rented a car it took less than 30 minutes to cross the Island over to Chalk Sound.
So we are considering this location to rent a villa in January. 5 adults an 2 kids, 8,11. My concern is that it seems to be secluded from the rest of the islands restaurants? Any advice for us eating out frequently? We can taxi no problem, but not if everything is 30 mins away. We will just look into the Gracy Bay area. Thanks!

One more thing, Chalk Sound isn't ideal for young children, but Taylor Bay, which is right next to ChalK Sound, is!! Taylor Bay is hands down our favorite beach on the island. The 1/2 mile stretch of powder sugared sand and... More

Hello everyone! I have the luxury of going to Turks and Caicos next week. Is there any place that I can rent a kayak by Chalk Sound? Also, I'll have a scooter, is parking an issue? Any advice will be much appreciated. I've been to Turks a few years ago I didn't have a lot of time but I absolutely love it! The only thing I didn't do was Chalk Sound.
