Went and saw a great sunset here and we were all by ourselves. The dirt road to get there was horrible, but the view and the beach were worth it

It'll take you a little while to reach it, but have faith - it's worth it. Nice and remote, beautiful shoreline mixed with soft sand and rock. Pack the snorkel gear. We swam with squid, barracuda and an assortment of aquatic life.

This is way out there so be prepared. Head for the Northwest Point Resort and take a right. You will end up on a 1 lane dirt path that goes for a bit. At the end is a turn around but do not go into that as it is very loose sand and you will probably get stuck. There are... More

We visited this beach on 21feb2015. On the day we visited there was one other group of tourists on the beach and one local surfer. The beach is beautiful with lots of rock pools. My kids spent hours "rescuing snails",chasing crabs and admiring washed up coral fans. The surf was rough on the day we were there and we made... More

Northwest Point National Park was probably one of my favorite beaches during our visit to Provo. It is a rustic setting with pristine beaches, conch shells galore, and awesome tide pools. After an amazing beach combing afternoon with my family, we returned to our car and prepared to return to our hotel. Considering the amount of broken car window glass... More

We rented a condo at Northwest Point resort. If you are looking for secluded peace and quiet this is it! Long stretch of Sandy beach with plenty of walking in both directions. No other resorts are nearby, you're surrounded by a nature preserve. A big sand bar down the beach allows walking way out. Lovely water, great amenities make it... More

Quiet and away from the crowds! While the sand is coarser here than some beaches, and there can be a lot of seaweed washed up, it's nice to just enjoy the view. There is a great view of the breaking waves on the reef far out and the turquoise water is spectacular!

More locals (poor) live in this area, and it has only dirt roads and NO food or lodging. This is a RentaCar visit, but for safety, do not go near dark, or with less than a tull tank of gas. Sketchy, with nothing great to see.

The ride was rough on a one lane path but that was okay. As we got out of our car, however, I noticed by where we parked there was a lot of broken glass. There was a car on the other side of the path that was parked and I noticed that its windows were broken on one side. Yes... More

we drove a narrow, iffy road all the way to the Northwest point beach but oh it was so worth it! this beach is very quiet, we only saw two other people there which disappeared a few mins later and we had the whole beach to our selves. it had the most beautiful sunset and just all together well worth...
