We drove all the way from the other side of the island to visit this placed based upon the hours posted on their website. When we got there it was closed. When we asked the local staff on site about it, they basically they told it was closed, no reason, no apologies ...just closed! Not a great experience! Understand things... More

Recommend visiting the museum! So much history from so many countries of the world, in Tobago! Informative and well presented. Can also tour Fort King George as museum is on the premises. Well worth the visit!

Part of the Fort King George it offer a piece of Tabago's history. Very well preserved and nicely renovated it has original items from the late 1700. The entrance is only a minimal fee of 10 TT dollars, cheap access to local history. The museum itself and the entire Fort George is a must see while in Tabago!

Such a soothing view of Tobago and such a worthwhile trip. So much history here and the wars fought. Winding road,so get familiar as you drive around Tobago.

There are artefacts and objects both inside and out of the museum. It is well worth a visit even more so if you want to... More

This Museum is located in an ideal setting, namely the Officers' Quarters of the historic Fort King George. The building is built of stone, stoutly reinforced and is redolent of the history of colonial expansion by Britain in the late Eighteenth Century. The colloection inside features not only Amerindian but also pre-Columbian Indian artefacts but it suffers by comparison with... More

Arrived after lunch and had a look around. Nice views but very hot. Tried to buy from lady with stall but she was too busy chatting and ignored us so we gave up. Went into museum but told it was shutting at 2pm, not 5pm as advertised, so we only had time for a 10 minute dash around the exhibits.... More
