What a view

You can almost see the colonial ships on the horizon as you take in the sights at this old fort. A must see in my book.

The museum at the Fort is so rich with historical documents and artifacts, it is worth the small fee to enter! The grounds are beautifully kept and the staff is friendly and knowledgable.

This site is on the beautiful Island of Tobago, it is well kept, very good for photo ops and a very good place to sit, relax and dream. Dream of what went before us, the people, the history and also the wars.

There are tour guides which I highly recommend. There is not a fee however it is nice to tip them. This looks out onto wonderful water views. And it tells of a deep rich history and changing alliances and owners of the island. There are beautiful flowers and plants and my favorite, chickens and roosters running around. My kids liked... Definitely a place to visit. Great view over the bay. It's not big but well maintained. The museum is worth a visit. Small but interesting for sure if you are from England, Holland, Spain or Denmark. Plenty of history. Entrance to the site is free but the museum cost a whooping 20 TTD 😎. All in all a good way... More

Visited this site twice this year and am very impressed with tidiness of site and ease of access, and that so few visitors go there. The Fort is reached via a narrow road off the north side of the overpass on the Western Main Road as it enters St. James, or via a better, shorter route adjacent to the Cemetery... More

Very informative. Once you're up there, the views are very nice and scenic. Provides a bit of history of the Fort. Nice visit for something other than beach and nightlife.
