A must to visit when you are there. Taste the home made Shark and Hops or Bake and shark among other menus.

Once you are there, Maracas Bay is a fun place to spend a day. The drive there is a little harrowing for the uninitiated...about 45 minutes from Port of Spain. Once there, you will find lots of bars and places to get your "Shark and...More

Nothing built up... nothing fancy! Just hard working fisherman and locals enjoying the beautiful waters and time with family!

Nice beach, beautiful view, good food, friendly dogs, sound of music, maracas sellers, steel drums players - what else do we need?

It's a beautiful drive up to Maracas Bay. It's a large beach with lots of places to lay down and relax, swim, and take pictures. Great local food is available on the beach, and music is playing as well to entertain you.

It's a bit crowdy which is expected because it is a public beach. The bake and shark was amazing. However, the water was a bit rough and not very clean as what I am used to back home. However, overall it was a great experience

The road is very narrow for the 2 lanes and it has many twists and sharp turns. Would highly recommend to go with an experienced local (tour guide). They also drive on the opposite side as North America so that is something... More

It's not expensive, I would compare it to a motel from about 40 years ago. Bare bones. But it's right on the beach basically. You just cross the street. But it is run down. I stayed at the Hilton in POS and that was 3 stars... More
