It’s a man made beach and it shows. Couldn’t believe how much garbage there is under water. The locals are continually lobbing empty beer bottles into the water and it would appear that no one is interested in cleaning it up or chastising the process. Shame as it’s a beautiful area.

Beach is split into two and the first beach you see has a Sandals resort being built upon it. Walking over across the car park to the other side there are a couple of restaurants. Then the next beach is before you. Umbrellas/sunbeds are all there and it's a decent sandy beach too. Theres a large undercover gazebo with a young lady cooking homemade BBQ chicken with her own sauce and it's very nice. For $10 you get a couple of pieces, along with Caribbean style rice and peas and fresh salad. Beers and juice etc. It's absolutely lovely. We got there early and took full advantage, the beach did fill up about midday.

Visited the beach as part of a custom day tour that i organised with a local tour operator. Wanted to go to other beach, but this was enroute and closest to Wilalou Bay and hence added as part of the tour. When I came to the Caribbean, I was always imagining white sandy beeches with coconut trees with some beach chairs. However, this beach turned out to be a disappointment. The beach was quite ok like any other beach. It is relatively small and over crowded. There were very few coconut trees near the sand and everyone were clamouring for some space for shade as it was quite hot. The beach was also a little dirty.

There are also rocks near the shore and hence quite difficult to really know where to swim as you got to be careful. There's a restaurant near the beach. We ate fish burger and got to admit that the fish inside the burger was heavenly. The restaurant was the only saving grace from this beach getting a 2*

One of the best vacations i have ever had, we had a little hut master suite with living room etc and a back porch with our very own swimming pool.
The food was all so delicious with lots of flavor and the drinks was amazing.
We did a few activities around the resort as well.
We stayed there abt 3 years ago, sorry for my late review not even sure if the resort is still running.

Visited as part of a day tour. The beach had sunbeds and chairs and umbrellas for hire. Ours were included in our private tour. The beach is used for cruise ships excursions but is big enough for this not to be a problem. Nice sand and the sea was calm. Lots of stray dogs but they weren’t a problem. The beach vendors were not pushy either.

Our taxi driver recommended this beautiful bay, upon arriving a great friendly young boy welcomed us and offered us ‘free chairs’ on the beach! We sat enjoying sipping sunset rum and bitter lemon. Enjoyed swimming, highly recommend this beautiful beach. Would have loved to stay longer, however, we shall be returning. Our taxi driver Kirk was brilliant, he stopped on route to taking us back to the port at a local garage and we purchased 2 bottles of sunset rum😀

Went here again same as we did last year. Even better this year as now has few sunbeds needed for our elderly parents. Nice quiet bay! Have to watch the people offering aloe Vera massage avoid. Not a massage it’s a rub with aloe Vera then they try to charge lot. BUT there is a wonderful professional massage lady (can’t remember her name) she was lovely one of the best massages I have ever had and she reduced the swelling in my feet! Very reasonable to. Calm waters extra strong rum punch for $2 a cup. Calm water and nice for snorkelling. Lovely fees hours spent here enjoy by all

The beach is lovely and not too crowded. They have all the amenities one might need incl. a bar with BBQ. Crusie ship passengers arrive during the day, but it‘s especially great early in the morning

This modified bay that compliments the former resort is quite lovely. It's blended sands and relaxing nearby cove and small bay area makes this one of the more attractive beaches on the leeward side of the island.
