We sailed into Cumberland Bay and were greeted by Cas who was very helpful in mooring our Catamaran in the bay. We ate at his uncle's restaurant just ashore from the mooring and were treated to absolutely delicious home cooked locally sourced food which was beautifully presented. There was live music and guests could get up and dance between courses or after the meal. Nothing was too much trouble and when we asked for provisions such as bread, fruit and vegetables to restock our boat with we were helped by the staff who speedily delivered what we needed to the boat at very reasonable cost.
A delightful experience which we repeated on our return journey sailing south.

Cumberland Bay is a hidden gem in the Caribbean. Unspoilt, utterly charming, authentic, quiet and friendly . We anchored our boat in the bay with the help of a knowledgeable and friendly local called, Cas. The Bay is beautiful for swimming or hiking into the beautiful inland.
We enjoyed a fantastic meal.in Mojito's bar, restaurant on the shore. Great ambience and service. The menu is inviting and does not disappoint. Great food and well presented.
There was live singing and the locals were not just enjoying their own music but were welcoming and inclusive of guests who wanted to join in.
We had a most memorable, delicious meal with great service.
Highly recommended.
