Terrific spot to learn how much the American culture has been influenced by the West Indies. Historical site where you learn about the island and how people lived on the island.

The museum is easy to get to from the port walking north along the waterfront. It is located in a smallish stone building and provides some insight into this increaseingly popular individual. While the displays were somewhat limited, it is certainly worth a quick visit...More

A very informative short history of Alexander Hamilton’s accomplishments along with local history about Nevis discovery, people and local culture. It’s small and at the most allow an hour for sure.

An informative exhibit...we went in mostly to support their efforts. The display probably came from a larger institution; some of the panels seemed to have been professionally designed. Because of the musical, I think that interest in this immigrant (who knew how to get things...More

Keep your expectations reasonable and you won't be disappointed. With limited resources they have done a lot. The visit is well worthwhile and it gives a good sense of what the island was lime

Within very short walking distance from the port if you take the boat ride over from st. kitts (and if you do I suggest renting scooters from Kevin at Nevis Scooter Rentals 869-664-7717, not expensive and worth every penny), it was an unexpected place to...More

Very basic story board style "museum" that gives a decent over view of the St Kitts and Nevis history and then an overview of the Alexander Hamilton life story. Its just very basic, nothing interactive, so temper your expectations. It was cool to stand outside...More

We have read Ron Chernow’s book on Hamilton, so this was a must stop. The young lady in the museum couldn’t believe we read “that big book” and the museum offers several smaller tomes on Hamilton. This tiny museum will find a place in your...More

If you are coming here in the near future, do check before hand to see if it is still under repairs. Because of the repairs going on, we had limited access to the building. Having said that, we are still glad to have had the...More

No, this is not one of the greatest historical museums that you have ever visited. However, suck it up and support the locals who are trying to promote their very real niche history. Pay the reasonable admission fee and spend 30 minutes reading about Alexander...More

I'm not sure. You'll have to check w/ hotel concierge or local taxi driver/tour guide. There are days in the week the town do not open for business such as Sunday reserved for worship.
