First stop on our tour around the island, Alot of great history around Nevis. You need a guide to tell you the story behind the building and the area.

We stopped by the museum and learned a bit about Nevis. The displays have good write ups. Although a small museum it was good. The lady running the place was very nice and helpful. We also got to go to the Alexander Hamilton House which...More

We did not visit the museum, but stopped in to get a walking map of Charlestown. We were sincerely welcomed by Trisha, one of the employees at the museum. We let her know that we didn't plan to visit the museum at that moment, but...More

This is a nice, local little museum tucked in between the ocean (and the ferry in Charlestown) and the main road through town. Interesting artifacts and very simple timelines. Loved the local beekeeping exhibit!

The museum is next to the Alexander Hamilton House. The admission fee is for both places and was relatively inexpensive. The museum is small. It has a few historical artifacts but it mostly has text displays that I found interesting.

While not large, the museum offers a lot of information on the history of Nevis. Would have spent more time if we were not on a 'schedule'.

Lots of local history. Hamilton's house could use some fixing up but all in all there was a good summary of his life. On Tuesdays they have s little bugger garden set up.
