We arrived on a cruise ship in St. Kitts, and took the ferry here. The beach was nearly empty. The views were gorgeous with the volcano in the background. The water is pretty, but not clear due to the sand stir-up. It’s not a good...More
This is the beach outside of the Four Seasons Resort. Very nice beach with Staff to bring water, towels, drink and whatever you may need. There were paddle boards, snorkels and various other water activities provided for a charge.
Not a thick beach but there are not a lot of people on the island so there is enough sand for all . A few nice restaurants near Buy , misbegotten beach is a little better you can watch the planes flow in and out...More

We actually booked the trip to Nevis through the Marriott where we were staying. However, there are many personal options outside of this one. Most of the cab drivers are de facto tour guides and can arrange to pick you up from your lodgings and transport you to the ferry location with instructions on going to Nevis. Nevis as I'm sure you are aware is another island close by (about 30 minute ferry ride).
Personally, I think a package through one of the tour operators is much easier as they handle your ferry fees, access and arrange a tour with lunch included and beach time on Nevis.
