The plantation was elegant but not ostentatious. Princess Diana booked the entire place when she took her boys. Sweepint views from the deck (tennis courts below). Several outdoor eating areas (with a breeze). Indoor dining for dinner, and you can reserve the old mill for...More

Very nice restaurant and hotel surroundings. Meal was very good. We arrived there was a wedding reception being held. We were placed in the upstairs eating. Service was really good. Recommend a visit for lunch or dinner

Beautiful home and grounds. Lots of history behind this place and its fun to learn. Stroll the grounds after a meal to truly take it in.

Amazing Great House with a lovely restaurant. This place is a bit out of the way up hill but worth a taxi ride. The menu is not as expensive as you would think for such a lovely place.

Beautiful grounds with attentive, polite service. Since the whole island is only 36 square miles, getting from Montpelier to other spots on the island takes little time. Enjoy quality without the big price tag.
