Greg was born and brought up on St. Kitts and Nevis and following his return home from College in Nova Scotia Canada in 1980, started working at his Parents hotel, the Ocean Terrace Inn, with one of his jobs being to do tours for the hotels guests.

While growing up on St. Kitts, Greg's parents became leaders in the local Tourism Industry, starting one of the first hotels in the islands, with Greg's Dad, eventually receiving the "Order of the British Empire" (OBE), from the St. Kitts Government for his outstanding achievements in local Industry.

This has given Greg a unique grounding as well as a deep sense of understanding for his home country and coupled with his tourism training abroad, has allowed him to become one of leading and longest serving tour guides in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. Greg and his team of certified Tour Guides have won many awards from the Tourism Authority for their businesses high standards of service.

From the very beginning Greg has used modified, 4X4 Land Rovers to do his "unique" island Safaris with. Being specially made, the 8 Land Rovers he uses today, are all open sided with mostly forward facing, stadium orientated seating, that provide his guests with the best way to experience exploring beyond the shores of St. Kitts and Nevis. Greg's Safaris is the only tour company in the Federation that uses 4X4 Land Rovers for touring on both islands!

For your private, half days hiking pleasure, Greg has created two "unique looped hiking trails", one at the Phillips Mountain Valley (2 miles long), and at the other at the Wingfield River Valley (2 1/2 miles long), on St. Kitts. His company is also the only one on St. Kitts to offer driving tours from coast to coast through the lushly forested interior and while traveling through the mountains his guests would have access to a private 5 acre "mountain top property", perched1000 feet sea level, a place of cool temperatures and breathtaking views, that can only be experienced on a "one of kind" 4X4 Safari Tour with him and his guides.

Greg is one of the founding members of the St. Christopher National Trust and as well, sits on the Central Forest Reserve National Park Committee. He is also a Life Member of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Brimstone Hill National Park and is also part owner of Sky Safaris, a company he started in 2009.

Enjoyed spending 3 hours seeing St Kitts including its beautiful rain forest and a nice beach. Greg is a very nice man and as part of a multi generational family on St Kitts really knows the island and its history.

The trip is lots of fun even the ride there is great. You can learn a lot about the wildlife while taking a hike and enjoying nature.

Tour guide spent more time on his cell phone setting up his plans for the evening than providing information regarding the island. Tour guide did not seem very knowledgeable regarding the plants, economy and sites in the area.

Hello, I am very shocked to read your review of our Greg's Safaris Tour and humbly apologize for your negative experience. Unfortunately you mentioned only "4x4 tour" but would you please be more specific as to what was the tour that you did and on what date and if you can remember, what was the name of your driver, as... Fun tour. Beautiful views and very informative. Unfortunately, did not see any monkeys. Booked through the cruise ship and easily accessible.

The Philips Rain Forest hike excursion by Greg's safari says that we will a) drive along the coast b) do a 2 hour hike in the rain forest c) have a swim in a stream d) have local treats. We first had a driving tour of Basseterre, then we drove along the coast with commentary by our driver, until the... More

Hello and thank you for taking our tour recently and for making time to give a response on your experience with us. Please allow me respond to a few things you mention in your letter. Our Drive along the coast is an exciting one actually, as it is done in a specially modified 4 x 4 Land Rover Defender, that... More

My wife and I recently took a cruise on Carnival cruise lines (Journeys Cruise on Sunshine). One of our ports of call was St. Kitts. We booked an off shore excursion through Carnival, Greg's 4x4 Safari. It was an amazing tour. Greg met us at the end of the dock and introduced us to our driver. Our driver was awesome.... More

My wife and I prebooked this excursion before our NCL Breakaway cruise. Greg led our tour and proved extremely knowledgeable. He was 5th generation and knew all the unique attractions. Because he had personal relations with landowners, we were led to places unavailable to other tours. This was certainly "off the beaten path". We finished with a rum punch and... More

We were part of a tour offered through our cruise line. We found Greg and his drivers very informative and friendly. I lost my hat that blew off the bus, and later on in the tour, one of the other bus drivers had seen it on the road, picked it up and gave it back to me at the next... More

Okay, first of all Greg and his drivers come over as nice, knowledgeable and sincere people. We were part of a tour from our cruise ship Britannia, our convoy of approximately 5 jeeps, each containing 10-12 persons, signed up for a "Jeep safari and beach tour". Although very informative about all the plant life and their medicinal properties, there was... More
