Having fished with charters all over the world it's rare you find one in the caribbean of this caliber. When I started planning a trip to the Grand Caymans I was looking for more than just a tourist attraction. I was looking for a fishing trip with knowledgable guys who love to fish as much as I do. Nick and Matthew are as professional as it gets, this crew will work hard to make sure you have a fun, safe ,and enjoyable day on the water. The Gunner is the primer charter fishing boat on the island. Its large, Fast enough to get too the fishing grounds "which are just right offshore", clean and very comfortable. We have already started planning our next trip back! to top it all off we hooked 2 blue marlins on our trip! We couldn't ask for anything more! Thanks guy!

We had scheduled a trip with Nick for our spring break. Because of coronavirus, we had to cancel our trip. Nick was so amazing from the first time we spoke to him until today, when he called us to refund our deposit. He’s the only person we’ll call when we finally make it to Grand Cayman!

Fished on Feb. 14th with Capt. Nick on the Gunner and mate Kyle. They have tournament ready equipment and are serious fishermen. We caught a 45 lb. wahoo. 4 barracudas and a couple of mahi. Then went to Stingray City and Starfish Point. It was a wonderful day. I have a charter fishing operation and these guys are 1st class. They recommend a restaurant for us to take our fish to and our meal was unbelievable. If you are considering going fishing these are the guys to go with.

Whenever we travel to ocean locations, we try to get out deep sea fishing. This year we went to Grand Cayman and were excited to go deep sea fishing. We were attracted to Get Bent Charters based on their excellent website and record of having recently won a Marlin tournament. We booked 2 half-day trips; the first early in our stay where we wanted to catch something we could eat and the second later on where we were going for "big game". Action was slow during our entire time (that's why they call it "fishing") but nevertheless, Nicholas Panton and his brother Mathew hooked us up to a nice 30 lb Wahoo on the first day. It fought so hard that two of my sons-in-law had to team up to get it in. Nick filleted the fish expertly and cut it into chunks. It was delicious cooked fresh on the bbq and some was made into cerviche. The second half day we went for Marlin; we knew it was a long shot and apart from a stray Barracuda, a contest with the fabled Blue Marlin was not to be on this day. Nevertheless, Nicholas and Mathew were both experts at their craft and fun to "ship out" with. Their boat, "Gunner" was absolutely first rate, perhaps the nicest I have had the pleasure to ride. It was comfortable even in the heavy seas which we encountered the second day and offered a variety of seating options, interior couches, in the stern by the fighting chair and topside with the captain. If we return to the Cayman Islands, we definitely will sign up again with Get Bent Charters.

I did a 8 hour deep sea with get bent charters. The boat is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The crew was amazing and funny. All the fishing gear was also well kept. My favourite thing about get bent charters is that its family owned and operated.
