Although I'm disabled I was able to push my four wheeled rollator frame from the nearby car park and push it up the stony path, although I wouldn't recommend it for wheelchair users

A hidden gem, just a short path from the road. SO old! Very well preserved and tended, a peaceful spot in a beautiful setting. We were even lucky enough to find an excellent local art show in town while looking for the path.

Fantastic. Great place to stop off. 6000 year old burial chamber was well preserved. This is an amazing site, a short walk from the main road. Very easily accessible with good parking by the chapel just off the main road. The burial chambers themselves are very impressive and in a beautiful setting, very atmospheric and quiet. There is also a beautiful oak tree by the chambers.Definitely worth a stop if it’s the kind of thing that interests you. Highly recommended indeed.

The entry is a little hard to find, but the site itself is well signed. Crazy to think it has been there for so long.

There are a pair of burial chambers in a small field here which are interesting to have a walk around . They go back 6000 years ago to the Neolithic period. Unfortunately one of the burial chambers has a collapsed capstone but the other is still standing and you can clamber inside and take a good look around. There is an information board by the gate which tells you why these burial chambers were created. The best place to park is at the church memorial hall which can fit around 10 cars. You are basically right next to the sign for the small path that leads you up the burial chambers.

We came across this when we were touring in the area, parked on the main road and walked the short trip through the kissing gate to the burial chamber. A Neolithic site, this is in very good condition and is an interesting example of an above ground chamber. There is an information board to read too.

Amazing to find a site that is so old. Hard to believe it’s been there for 6000 years. No specific parking. We parked on hill to houses just to the left. Short walk up path to site.

Interesting historic place, just off a main road. Access is up a slight hill and has a kissing gate. The actual chamber is interesting, there is a sign to explain what the burial chamber is. We had a 6 year old and a 13 year old with us and they both found it interesting.
