The first time I stopped at this little store was in 1995 on a cruise. I bought a shipwreck silver coin and 2 copper “Cash” coins. I knew this was going to be my first stop for this visit to this island again. The owner is very knowledgeable and told us where each of the coins were found. We bought 2 silver coins. I hope they are still around on our next stop to this great little island.

This a truly unique shopping experience. Far different than the ordinary store found on an island waterfront, this business features historical, and often rare items from a long-gone era. We have enjoyed visiting for years now when we vacation to the island, and this year was no exception. We purchased several items that we will enjoy for years to come, and then pass to the next generation. Great staff and the owner personally worked with us on the pricing to ensure we were able to get the items we wanted at a price we could afford. Great family owned small business. We will be back on our next visit for sure!!

If you are looking for a unique shopping experience, this is your place. We went in looking for a coin pendant. The owner knows everything about everything in the store. He very patiently told us about each piece we were interested in. It took us a long time to decide, but he didn't mind at all. Great place if you are interested in maps, shipwreck pieces, art, beautiful antiques, coins, and coin pendents. HIGHLY recommend.

We have been on 14 cruises and have seen just about all the "commercialized " shops in the Caribbean. But we have also sought out the unique and different, the local shops that have something 'special' Artifacts is a great example of that. The staff is terrific and so knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the 'artifacts'. No high pressure, just nice people-- we wished we could've spent more time their, but we had to get back to the ship. Do yourself a favor and visit when in port , or just on vacation on the Island.

I first visited Artifacts several years ago on a cruise and found very rare collectibles there from several thousand year old coins to 19th century ones. I have been there 3 times on three different cruises. The last time in Dec. 2019. And again I found a very old coin dating back to 500BC. Of course I had to add it to my collection from Artifacts. Very nice people to deal with and a great find for any collector.

While strolling the main street of George Town, we stopped to checkout this curious store. It is located on main street across from the North Cruise tender boat pier. It is not very big but has some pretty cool stuff from old china place settings, silverware, old charter maps and real copper & silver sunken pirate booty treasure coins.

BOTTOM LINE: I over heard one customer leaving the store saying that this was the best store in Grand Cayman. Definitely a treasure-trove of old stuff. Loved seeing the old shipwreck silver coins you can purchase and own. Pretty cool. MY RATING: 9/10.

I had stopped into this little shop to find a coin medallion for my son. The curators are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Not only do they offer a large variety of shipwreck and shore found treasures and coins but also beautiful historical artifacts with the history behind them all. This is a very delightful shop and well worth a few minutes to browse if only for the history.

This store was a wonderful surprise - after wandering the gorgeous and charming waterfront of Georgetown, my partner and I swerved into Artifacts. This small store contains a robust collection of antique pottery, maps, art, jewelry and more. I found several incredibly intricate and unique Depression era bonds from Paris and Greece as well as a very convincing Redoute botanical print. We also picked up a handful of contemporary Caymanian watercolors and prints to gift to family back home. The owner was so helpful, patiently explaining where he acquired each artifact we were interested in (many he handpicks at global trade shows!). Do not miss this special emporium of one-of-a-kind treasures.
