An absolute must!!! So glad we chose to do this excursion. I would highly recommend to friends and family to take this 30 to 45 minute ride out to stingray City.

We love exploring nature and wildlife wherever we travel, but there is something amazing about interacting with the wildlife directly. It was definitely a memory-maker, and worth every dime. We checked online for a day when there would be few to no ships in port,...More

This is such a unique and amazing experience! From the boat ride out to Stingray City to playing with the stingrays. This is a must trip! I would recommend bringing goggles to look under the water at them although you can't snorkel in this area....More

Can't come to Cayman and not do this. We almost missed out b/c if there is too much wind, the government cancels these trips which happened to us. Luckily there was a good weather day and we were able to go. Our advise is to...More

We have visited twice in the last couple years. It is a fun place to visit but verrry crowded. Lots of rays and fish but a lot more people.

We used Scotch Bonnet Charters out of Grand Cayman for our day to Sting Ray City. We had a private charter all to ourselves that accommodated our party of 13!! 7 people at the last minute. The kids and adults all loved swimming and holding...More

Went with friends while In Grand Cayman to Stingray City. One of the best excursions I have ever been on. Our captain and tour operator were amazing. Very friendly and always willing to answer our questions.

I'm traveling solo with my 7 year old and so wish I could be diving, but introducing her to snorkeling instead. She loved this experience! Seeing the rays up so close was amazing and seeing them in their environment was a better yet. My We...More

Hi! Cruising through carnival in August and am really interested in booking the Sting ray sand bar, hell, and turtle farm excursion. The big catch is that we will be cruising with our 1 and 3 year old at the time of the trip. The excursion says no minimum age limit, and our kids as of right now are extremely laid back for the most part. The only part of the trip that I guess concerns me is the stingray sandbar, but my thoughts are we will wing it. If we don't feel comfortable getting off the boat we won't, and I would bring live vests from home for both kids. Anyone took this tour and think it is either a good or terrible idea to attempt this excursion with or kids?

Hi, has anyone done a stingray city trip with a 4 year old? Our cruise ship will only book for ages 5 and up and we'd really like to take the whole family, aged 4+. Does anyone know if we are likely to find a tour at the port that will take us all? I'd love to hear any recommendations if you have used a tour operator that will take kids under 5. Thanks.
