This is a small peninsula, once destined for development, but now seems to be mostly a drinking destination. There are numerous starfish, but try to go by car before the tour groups arrive. One boat, the "Miss Beautiful," backs in to shore, daily, according to...More

Starfish point had a nice sandy beach with a gradual entry. My grandchildren were not with us but would have enjoyed this. There was a sign that gave good information on starfish. The water was very clear and we saw many starfish. Walk a bit...More

Rent a car, drive to the circle at the end of Water Cay Road, then drive south on the dirt path that ends just before the water. Hike to the right (west). The starfish are not hard to find near shore.

No we didn't book a tour. My husband and I just entered Star Fish Point. Anyone can visit for free. There was a tour being conducted further into the ocean.
