Snorkeling was fair. Saw a variety of fish, but not in the huge numbers or varieties you see in curaçao. Water a little choppy but currents not terrible. Beach pretty but omgosh get out before the cruise ships arrive. Once they arrive the place is swarmed w people, many of whom are not in the best physical condition to even... More

We visited Devil's Bay on a cruise ship excursion. That has the disadvantage of guaranteeing you will be there with a crowd. The bay is big enough that it turned out not to be a problem. We arrived by boat, swam in to the Baths, walked through the Baths carrying our snorkel gear, then swam into the bay. And swam... More

A must see on VI. If you are in average shape, not afraid of confined spaces and up for an adventurous hike; this is for you. Wear comfy shoes that can get wet.

We came very early in the morning -- around 9am -- and had the beach ENTIRELY to ourselves. It felt utterly romantic and cinematic. However, I wouldn't recommend coming much later than that because by 9:30 am, about 25 Brazilian tourists burst forth from the woods with selfie sticks and tablets out to take photos. Then boatloads of tourists in... More

After climbing through the boulders in the baths, you come out to Devils bay. Nice sandy beach, steep in some places as you walk uphill. Nice warm water to swim in. Did some snorkelling close to the rocks. However, it was pretty deep even with the fins I'd borrowed from the hotel. Beautiful blue waters framed by boulders. Visited in... More

That Baths and all the adventures surrounding the Baths are a must see. Take 2-3 hours and seek the coves, bays and beaches about the Baths. If you can go on a calm day so you can go out and swim around the baths, it will make the experience even better.
