The hike starts from either of two well-marked points along the road between Spanishtown/The Valley and North Sound. The lower trailhead states it will take you 45 mins to get up to the top. The upper trailhead took us about 30 mins, mostly easy walking...More

After a trip to the Baths we took a ride to the peak. Worth the drive. It was a small fee and the employee at the yacht club we moored at in Spanish Town can get you a ride.

Luscious sites and also simple resident housing on the way. It was beautiful seeing the two bays on either side of the island.

This is sort of a non-review review. I had read in advance about the steepness of the trail to the top of this mountain, and knew it wasn't for us. But we did drive by the "entrance" which appeared to be a sign on the...More

It's a fantastic site, beautiful rock formations and a marvelous crystal sea. It's about 8 min. drive from the ferry pier (around 10 dolars). You must pay 3 dolars to get in, and there is a nice restaurant/bar on the beach. But pay attention: if...More

Looking for a way to spend an "active" hour then this hike is for you! Lookout platform at trail's end is actually a tower so be prepared to navigate several steep staircases in order to actually get the 360 degree views. Well worth the hike....More

We chose the 55 minute hike, which took about 40 minutes. I read several reviews and some said they saw snakes and some not, and some said there aren't any snakes on the island. Well, yes there are, and we saw a lot of snakes...More

We took the 2nd trail as recommended by previous reviews ... Good call as it is much shorter ... Rated as 25 mins but only took us 20 mins at a leisurely pace. A little steep at the start but gets better after the first...More

My teenage son and I hiked the summit of Gorda Peak in about 50 minutes from the upper trail head where the sign suggests 25 minutes. We were absolutely not disappointed. The trail is steepest at first, but it quickly gets flatter. Lots of interesting...More

Despite living in the BVI for more than a decade this trip was my first time on the Gorda peak and trail. The potential here is immense but poor and non Existent signage leaves a lot to be desired. While I think I made it...More
