An excellent symbol of the sugar plantation era in BVI, this park above Brewer's Bay features the intact remains of a stone windmill, once part of an 18th-century sugar plantation.

No parking and it is chained off as if you are not supposed to visit. Our taxi driver told us to go on in. Not much to see, and I wouldn't make an effort to go there. If you happen to be driving by, it...More

Easy to find, just read your map. It sits above Brewers Bay, in a quiet, beautiful space. Reader boards explain the history and use of this historical sugar mill. The best in the Caribbean. Worth seeing, on your way to Brewers Bay.

Sitting high above Brewers Bay, this beauty is rarely with visitors! A National Treasure, of the BVI. Respect the quiet beauty, imagine the time, long ago. Read the informative signage. Come away, in awe. Enjoy!

You can still see a windmill ruin here on Tortola. Roads aren't bad to get there and if you take the road up from Brewers Bay you will see more ruins along the way.
