I had read some negative reviews (and positive ones) prior to our day trip. I should have listened to the negative ones. The beach does have facilities with a beach bar area. The beach itself is dirty (chickens running all around) and certainly not picturesque. I would not return there or to BVI.

Brewer's Bay has a nice beach area with lounge chairs to rent for $5 each. There is a shaded area on the beach for those that don't want to be in the sun. It was very hot when were there...90 degrees so sitting in the shade was desirable. There is a bar that sells snacks and drinks. We didn't try... More

We were 2 of 6 people on a large stretch of beach. It was abandoned and we swam in crystal blue waters where pelicans were diving and schools of small fish swam around us.

One of the best day trips we made. Healthier reef with a calm ocean. View is relaxing under the banyon tree and a cold beer.

We only had a few hours on Tortola so chose this beach to spend that time playing with the kids on the beach and to do some snorkelling. Beds are available but no umbrellas for just $3, but be warned they are far from modern and certainly very tired! If you want some shade, you will need to use a... More

Lovely cove with good swimming and lounging. There is an acceptable beach bar at the near end. The drive here was scary but do-able in a normal car. The one big drawback was someone burning their garbage, presumably vegetation but could also have been household-- blew straight toward the beach for the several hours we were there.

Brewer's Bay is, in my opinion, the best beach in Tortola. Any time the my wife and I have visited this special place, it has been quiet and not crowded at all. Boats are banned from the bay because of telephone cables that cross the bay on the bottom. This is a beautiful and unspoiled spot, with flocks of diving... More

Great beach to swim and relax. Not very crowded. There was a little wave action, which I like. Food and drinks are available. Worth the trip

Everyone can find here what you like. Millions of fishes to discover during snorkeling. Quiet lazy rest on water or sand. Unusual grape trees and wild chicken on it. And sun even under totally cloudy sky. Beautiful!
