You have to travel about 1/2 mile down a bumpy unpaved road, but it's definitely worth it. The beach is generally not crowded due to its remote location and it's situated in a quiet cove. The snorkeling is very accessible right from the beach in...More

It took about 1/2 hour and some fortitude to walk to Smuggler's Cove. If you're not in decent shape--get the hotel to book a trip for you. There's good snorkeling here. Saw a lot of fish and an octopus.

We rented a jeep and drove from the ferry dock. Road is in definite need of repair and a bit sketchy at times but made for a great adventure for sure! Only a few people there, including a couple who had hired a cab driver...More

It is always a treat coming to Smuggler's Cove. A bit tough to get there as there is no paved road so it is good to have a jeep. Beach is great white sand and snorkeling on the left hand side is really fun. The...More

The beach itself. Is lovely, but had a foul odor when we were there. We stayed for a while, then left. I think it was the stench from a local water hole that had sewage leached into it. It smelled pretty bad and a few...More

What a beach! Soft sand, warm water, nice long walks, great views and a shack with two guys barbecuing some tasty food. What more could one want?

This is just a gorgeous beach. White, fine sand and not many people, great snorkeling. There was a makeshift bar down the beach that would make you a PainKiller, too! Loved it.

Smugglers was one of the top destinations on trip advisor, so naturally we made it a point to visit. Like others have said its a drive over some unsaved roads, not bad, but the lack of signage is disappointing. The beach itself was nice and...More

A bit challenging to get there, but once you're there...paradise. Great beach, calm waters, nice shade if needed. Cool little beach shack with snacks and drinks.

It would depend on where your driving from? We walked from where we docked the sail boat and it was a 45 minute hike. You could sail around, however I'd recommend the walk as you walk/swim through under water caves etc if... More
