Walked up the hill and was amazed at the ruins of the fort. The view of the harbor was fantastic and well worth the hike. Can see why the cannons were here. You can almost feel yourself transported back in time.

Fort Louis is easy to reach. You can park your car relatively close to the castle or walk from the marigot harbour. You need to climb a view steps to reach the castle but it short and not to steep. From the fort you have...More

Definitely worth the steep but short climb from the town center. The views from the fort are expansive in all directions and reach to Anguilla in the distance. The fort is mostly in ruins but some walls and a structure are in place as are...More

Nice place to walk around and enjoy the views over Marigold and the sees. The signs with explanation of the history are interesting. The cannons are rusty and not historically on the right place but demonstrate the power of the location perfectly.

We made a climb up to Fort Louis late morning before lunch in Marigot. The walk up was winding and somewhat challenging, so I was glad we went in the morning, as the heat would make the hike more difficult. The history of the fort...More

Really wonderful way to explore local history and have a spectacular view of the Marigot area. The hike is fairly steep, but very short. My 6 year old had no problem doing it in less then 10 minutes.

Parking is tricky to find, located on some back streets off the main road. Well worth the hike up to the top, beautiful views of Marigot and can even see planes landing at Princess Juliana Airport!

A very nice museum and great view of Anguilla in the distance. Quite a hike to the top but worth the steps

We decided that it would be much easier to reach the top if we did not visit during the heat of the day. Planning ahead we used satellite imagery and google maps to review the winding and confusing streets in the area and note landmarks....More

This would be quite the walk. It is not close to Orient Beach. Sorry!

There's no toiletries and no wi fi. But you will spend about 1 hour only to visit all place. The view is great!
