Paradise Peak on Saint Marten is worth the visit if you need a break from the sunny beaches and would like to visit the mountains, now the road is scary to drive and recommended you beep horn as you go up and down to alert other drivers or hikers. They have mokeys in the mountains eating fresh mango's but you... More

The 2 hour strenuous hike is best started in the morning if you start from the farm. You will truly enjoy using the pool there (there is a charge) and they start limiting entry around 4. You could drive to the telecom tower but the hike allows views of both sides of the island. We had a monkey cross the... More

We started our walk/hike from the parking spot at Loterie Farm and took the long route. Definitely wear proper shoes, clothing and bring water. Nice hike with some obstacles will be rewarded with an amazing view across the entire island. Starting at the farm not only provides a safe parking spot but also the opportunity to grab a super refreshing... More

I take it it's hit and miss but beware they are hiding in the bushes or somewhere. We drove to the very top and there was one other car. We locked the car and stupidly left some cash and a back pack in the car because we were just going down the trail a ways, take some pictures and go... More

Took a ride to the highest point in St. Martin. Quite a climb and not for the faint of heart. (I am talking about in a car, not on foot!) The road up was about as wide as one car (sub compact!) but was a two way road. Our very under powered car seemed like it might roll backwards at... More

We parked at Loterie farms and started the hike from there. It's $5 per person to do it. The hike is narrow, steep, and rocky at times so it might not be the best if you don't hike much or for small children, but we loved it! A little ways up by the stream we saw several monkeys! We only... More

Great views of the sea and surroundings, however the road to go there is very steep and narrow. Only a few parking spot available at the top so avoid peak hours ...

There are multiple ways to get to the top of Pic Pardis. While you can drive up to the top there isn't any good place to park and vehicles have been broken into if left on the side of the road there. If your into hiking park your vehicle at Lottery farms. They do charge $5 per person to access... More

I also had a crummy rental car and made it within 100 yards of the top. It is a LONG hike up, which is fine if the heat is not an issue and you crave the hike. The views are great indeed. Even overcast as i was our day up. To get there follow the signs to "pic paradise", not... More

Very much enjoyed this lovely hike through the forest to the summit of Paradise Peak. The trail head begins and ends at Loterie Farm an eco-lodge beautifully situated in a lovely valley below the mountain. After your hike enjoy a cold drink, a delicious drink, and a swim in the beautiful swimming pool and grounds of Loterie Farm.
