I always try to find the spots that locals visit when I travel and this was just that kind of find. The rum is made on the island and infused with different flavors. This isn't your huge-corporate-conglomerate-made rum; it is the rum that was being...More

I enjoyed our visit, and it's nice (and rare) to find a truly local product in such a touristy place as St Marten. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about this family-run business. I appreciate that they produce the rum here, and infuse it with...More

I love rum and I travel to SXM quite a lot. I go to the Guavaberry Rum shop every time I visit. I usually get a bottle of rum for myself and few small bottles for my close friends. They always love the gift that...More

Authentic, friendly and great selection of Caribbean rums. I come here twice a year and always take home a few bottles of Guavaberry and their small gift size rums to give as gifts. The people here are always friendly and answer all my questions, and...More

Visited The Guavaberry Company while on holiday. I must say it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was a true Caribbean experience! The rums were extremely tasty and the mixed colada drinks outstanding! Made a point of going back at least twice during our stay.

Maybe this liqueur was good, once, but it certainly isn't anymore. It tasted like a base of super-cheap rum, mixed with artificial flavorings. I don't know if it actually *used* artificial flavorings, or if it was just from the cheap rum, but that's certainly what...More

A great stop-in; super local, reasonably priced, and delicious! Lots of rum varieties to choose from, but we liked the original guavaberry rum the best- bottles are packed up and ready to transport, we had no trouble bringing them back on our ship or on...More

This little place is a must see while in Philipsburg. It has a small and unassuming storefront but the shelves are packed with many varieties and flavours of rum. The best part is the Guavaberry Colada that they sell as a "slushy" kind of drink...More

Hi Chiotilid, In US distances, I would say around one mile at most. In European distances, about 1600 meters. Enjoy the island. Bob Stratford, CT

It's only about a 5 to 10 minute walk tops. You'll be at the end of the boardwalk near the marina, go up to front street turn left and you'll pass the passarhang guest house, Yoda Guy then guavaberry on the opposite side
