Arrive by launch from Soufriere and get lost on this strip of beach. Delicious food on the charcoal grill and a bar with excellent drinks. Gobs of privacy.

Very nice beach with a small bar and restaurant. We walked there from Soufrière. The walk took us about 40min and had a lot of photo opportunities. Hamburger was tasty but rather overpriced at 24US$.

Enjoyed this nice secluded beach. Like most everything on St. Lucia, it can get to be pricey quick--$33 for two lounge chairs with an umbrella, $24 a burger at the beachside lunch place. Nice swimming area, bring your swim shoes since it's a bit of a rocky entry. I saw lots of people snorkeling but hadn't brought my equipment. Just... More

After an hour of snorkeling (which was truly incredible) at Sugar Beach, my wife and I hired a water Taxi ($40.) to take us to Anse Chastenet. From there, it is an easy ten minute walk to Anse Mamin which we found to be a most peaceful and relatively uncrowded retreat. It is a pristine beach is immaculately maintained. We... More

Anse Mamin is a short walk from Anse Chastanet, and well worth it! It's a beautiful location, and the water is perfect for a swim or snorkeling. If you want to avoid a crowded beach, this is fantastic! They boast the best burgers on the island, and it's true they are delicious. Just make sure you bring your wallet, as... More

Worth the walk from Anse Chastenet. Enjoyed that famous burger and spent most of the afternoon here sunning and snorkeling.

We were staying at Anas Chastanet so walked from the hotel. We were part of a bird watching group, so apart from enjoying the walk on reasonable trails, through the tropical vegetation, we were looking for birds. It had been a sugar plantation and we saw the ruined remains of some of the slave buildings. Make sure you use plenty... More

We stumbled upon this beach after doing some snorkeling at Anse Chastanet which is about a 10 minute walk away. The beach here is much more quiet than Anse Chastanet and on both days we were there there were only a handful of other people around. Chairs are fairly cheap to rent (±$12) compared to $100 at Sugar Beach. There... More

Two options how to get there from Soufriere. One, water taxis. They charge from $120-80 EC. Dont settle for the first price they give u. I get $80 EC for two ppl return trip. Just tell them when to pick u up and they will be there. Second, driving. Either car or taxi. Its fairly close but the road is... More
