    Good locals beach
Very much a “locals” beach with lots of parked cars and families. Coarse sand with some rocks but clear warm Water. Wash room facilities and bars /restauran//chair hire. One of the islands nicer beaches.

Pigeon Island Adventures: Beach, Hike, and Family Fun!
Pigeon Island in St. Lucia offered a delightful day trip for our family. While the beach area is compact and shade is limited, there's the convenient option to rent chairs and umbrellas. Despite some rain during our visit, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Plus, for the more adventurous, there's a hike to the top that promises stunning views. Great for families and explorers alike!

    Pigeon Island
We really enjoyed are day at Pigeon Island. There is large parking lot before you enter the park. When you enter the park, you pay for the entrance fee and if you want to get a lounge chair you tell them right up front and you pay in total $13 per person for the entrance fee and the chair. Save your receipt as you can tour the Island and climb the Peaks before you use the Beaches. There are two beaches. As you enter the park the first beach to the left is really nice but not too much shade. Continue walking and the next beach has plenty of shade. There is a restaurant/bar at the end of the second beach worth trying. If its busy be ready for a wait. We toured the Island and then climbed the peaks. The first peak is easier to climb than Signal Peak. Signal Peak is definitely challenging. If you decide to climb it make sure you have good footing and bring water as you will stop, rest and drink some water as you climb. You are allowed to leave the park and return as long as you have your enrty receipt. We parked our rent a car outside the entrance so after we climbed the peaks we went to our car, got our beach gear and changed in the bathrooms located inside the park, went to the shadier beach and got our lounge chairs. There is also a tent at the shadier beach that provides snorkeling and scuba diving if you want to do it. Great day and highly recommend a trip to Pigeon Island.

    AMAZING BEACH !! AWFUL LOCALS
Amazing Beach, Great sea and sand . This beach is right next door to sandals and is a stunning area for a swim and sand . pay the $5-10 usd for the loungers and then DO NOT engage with anyone else, say no to everything , be as rude and abrupt as they are and enjoy your day. If you want food either use the Grill on the far left of the beach , or the Grill at the far right ( next to sandals ). The locals are sleezy, smiley, scamming and awful people ( those working the beach ) I wouldn’t avoid the beach as it’s gorgeous, the reason that people pay so much for hotels on the beach is because of the locals and their awful ways about them. The team in Joes Grill were excellent, excellent food.

As part of a tour, we stopped on the causeway outside the entrance to the Island. There are several places to stop and get a drink or food. Take small bills to use the "comfort centre" aka public bathrooms

What a hidden gem! Far enough away from most of the cruise ship crowd. Right next to Sandals. Three really great beach shack restaurants/ bars. True Caribbean atmosphere. Calm waters.
You can rent a chair and umbrella and then go to one of the shacks for great food. Several shops, nice people. A guy in a boat comes selling all kinds of fruits and different types of rum punch.
The views are absolutely gorgeous across the bay! If you are looking for a Caribbean vibe, this place hits the mark!

Absolutely gorgeous and beautiful water! There were some “pushers” but that’s to be expected so close to so many resorts. Highly recommend the “Prosper” reggae boat Coco Loco experience! You will know you have found him when you see the Rasta boat with flags on top and a full fresh fruit/ bar display onboard :)
