This restaurant attached to the Rendezous Hotel is fabulous right on the beach - lovely food, excellent service - in the evenings particularly magical with the sound of the sea just yards from your table while the tables were lit by candles.

A changing menu for lunch and dinner, booking is essential for dinner. Totally dressed down restaurant, men are allowed smart shorts in the evening, ladies are asked if the would like to take their she's off, brilliant.

Malabar beach is very attractive (ignore the picture posted on TA as representative of it - it's far superior to that!!). Popular with locals at weekends which can add to its charm.

Waves roll in and churn the sand up even on a fairly still day, so although it makes for a gentle slope and easy access for swimming there is nothing to see under the waves. It's nice that this is a public beach, which is clean and beautiful. Not rocky whatsoever either which was nice

Nice beach, but the quality of the water was disappointing, it was certainly not crystal clear & bordered by a cemetery at the Castries end.

We enjoyed lunch and dinner here. The choice was amazing and the flavours more so. The only downside being the need to 'veg' out for hours on a sun-bed due to over indulgence!
