We were able to tour the cathedral honour island tour, as well as participate in a Sunday Mass. Both were great experiences! The church was built over a century ago, and is being carefully renewed. The original artwork is beautiful, and I sort of hope...More

While visiting St. Lucia in April 2017 we took the time to run by the Church. You can visit inside and out and worship if you wish. Very old church within walking distance of almost anywhere in the Capital.

Small church which could easily be missed. Reminder of the Spanish colonisers. Still used as a church with Caribbean style architecture rather than western design.

External appearance not very appealing but internal appearance makes up for it. Impressive stained glass and painted ceiling designs.

They say that this is the largest Cathedral in the Western Caribbean, and I'm not about to argue with that. The Cathedral is truly impressive, more so inside than out. The cavernous interior is both daunting but strangely comforting, with open louvred windows allowing zephyrs...More
