I suspect most visit Bagshaws at the end of their Island Tour with little say whether they want to go or not. The ten minute drive from Castries traveling along Le Toc Road is worth the view if nothing else. This is not a town shop within walking distance. We had a great view of our cruise ship on reaching... More

We heard about Bradshaws and were keen to find it. Their products aren't advertised or sold anywhere except maybe the airport. After going up and down La Toc Road about 10 times, we finally found the shop. There is a sign that you can see when coming from Castries but not the other way. The shop was empty and we... More

It was great to see the screen printing being done. We found lots of items in the shop suitable for presents to take home and a wall hanging and table runner for us. It's worth stopping to look at the view from the balcony of La Toc beach and if you've time a swim in the sea. The shop has... More

In search of some good, reasonably priced locally produced handicraft, I called up and arranged for a silk screening demonstration at their workshop in the Morne Fortune area just outside of Castries. Travelling by taxi up the winding La Toc Road there were lovely views overlooking Castries. At the workshop, Chad, the printer, spent over an hour showing me all... More

Having heard great reports about the Bagshaw demonstrations, we made a point of including it on our last visit to St Lucia. Frankly, I'm not sure why we bothered. They seemed amazed that we wanted to see a demonstration, & while they did allow one of the workers to show us what he was currently working on, we were made... More

Loved their screen print pillow covers, table linens and all the wearable screen print clothes. I've gotten a lot of compliments on the pillow covers and table linens. It was very warm in June of 2008, the place needed more fans or a little AC. Would have stayed and bought more items if it were a bit cooler.
