There where 8 in our party, 11 yrs.- 54 yrs. It was a warm overcast day and the wind was a great break in the heat. We hiked to the to of the hill to see the fantastic view and got caught in an afternoon rain shower and went into the underground bunker that had previously stored ammunition for the... More

Pigeon Island was a beautiful park, and the breezes off the Atlantic were welcome on the hot day we visited. We spent a lot of time climbing up steep slopes and sweating, so this is not a park for everyone. We found the placards lacking of a lot of information, and wishing we had bought the $5 history book at... More

Nice hike to top and then a breathtaking view. Well worth the $7 US for entry to the National Park. Quite a historic site!

Beautiful views and interesting historical points. We started in friendly Barnacles and spent several hours exploring the 'island' including a break for lunch at the wonderful Jambe du Bois. Highly recommend if you're up for a gentle stroll and a steep climb!

Amazing views of the Pitons in St. Lucia. This island is very green and has a large rain forest that most people just don't think of. We have been to may of the Caribbean island and by far St, Lucia is the most green for its size. We stayed at the Sandals La Toc resort, just one of three Sandals... More

Delightful spot. Great views from the top and a bit of history about Admiral Lord Rodney. We enjoyed a couple of hours wandering around and having lunch at the restaurant which does good local food at a reasonable price. Free car park by the entrance. A good find since a lot of the islands have little to offer other than... More

We hiked the smaller peak to explore Fort Rodney. It was hot, but only took about 15 minutes but was fairly easy terrain. Bring a water bottle and sneakers and you'll be fine. It was well worth the hike for the spectacular views and photo ops and the breeze at the top is the best ocean breeze you will ever... More

We went with a guide from our resort. We proceeded up the smaller mountain and it is breathtaking. There is history all around us. Placards along the way, all though our guide was quite knowledgeable. It does get to be very steep and should not be done in flip flops. Once at the top, it is worth the hike. Beautiful... More

Spent about 2hrs visiting- the Int centre is under reno- but the 5dollar book explains it all. Bit of hike up and steep stairs at very top of fort- not for mobility impaired (not the last bit anyways). The bar/restaurant at shorefront facing rodney bay is awesome. The beach there is small but secluded and safe. Staff were friendly, admission... More
