Stables are entitled the International Polo Club but these are really small stables that appear to be family owned. No worries horses are well trained but smaller than normal sized think between a pony and normal 16 hands high. The terrain before the beach may include deep mud and inclines. They only take certain horses in the water and you... More

After getting slightly lost in the maze of roads around the golf course, we found ourselves down on the beach just in time for a soaking from an Atlantic rainstorm. No matter - we headed north away from the people taking rides in the sea and climbed up over the headlands. The rain stopped and the day turned bright and... More

Perfect for folks who want to experience the Atlantic Ocean side of the island.Always very windy perfect for kite surfing and surfing, I also noticed alot of horse back riding. NOT very hard to find.My taxi driver suggested it and it was a twenty minute drive from the Rodney Bay strip.

This beach is called Plantation Beach. It's not hard to find, just drive along the golf course and follow the "Kitesurfing" signs. At the end of the paved road, then you take a very rocky road about 1/3 mile to the beach. Unlike the picture in TripAdvisor, the beach is a bit smelly, has a fair amount of trash and... More

Awesome place. Unspoilt and wild. Hope it stays that way. The water was super warm when I was there in November and you can get a ride up and down the beach by talking to the guys with horses. They're really nice but try and get a good price in EC dollars.

We came here with Trim's Stable to ride horses on the beach. The beach is very pretty and would be perfect for wind surfing. The water stays shallow for pretty far out allowing for riding the horses into the water. Yes, there is a lot of seaweed that is killing the turtles. The day we were there, there were trucks... If you are an advanced or an intermediate kite surfer this is not the place to kite surf on St. Lucia. It is a very small bay. If there are 15 kite surfers on the the water, then the bay gets crowded. This is a great place to learn your skills if cannot go up wind yet. For a beginner... More

We first came to S.L. in 1993. We visited other islands, but always came back because of the wonderful St. Lucian people. We loved it so much that we bought 61/2 acres of land overlooking Martinique. So, our local sandy beach is Cas en Bas. We have built three blocks and rent out. However, back to the beach. The horses... More

Follow the signs to Cotton Bay but drive past and then turn right down an unmade road (cars YOK) to get to the beach. Lots more seaweed than in 2012. Some attempts being made to clear but will take some time to complete. We saw new waves of seaweed incoming. However, is very quiet, good breeze off the sea and... More

Spent the first part of the day making wrong turns down a couple back roads before finding the right path. Btw, take cas en bas road. Go just past cotton bay village and find the side dirt road down to the beach. If at some point you pass the golf club house, you've gone the wrong way and may end... More
