We went into Marigot Bay for lunch and to see the bay. The bay is very pretty with yachts and visiting boats. We took the Ferry to Pirates Bay for lunch, but it was closed we think because the chef hadn't shown up yet!! So...More

A lovely bay with a bit of beach you can get to on shuttle ferries. Lots of big yachts, expensive restaurants and water taxis. Unless you have a car you are a bit stuck. But there is a shack bar on the beach area which...More

If you come with a boat, you don't really see the bay before you have almost sailed past it! But it is definitely worth a visit!

Thisi was one of the photo stops on our taxi tour of St Lucia. Beautiful azure sea and white sands. Pity we could stop for longer.

There's a reason Hollywood comes calling to Marigot Bay (scenes from the original "Dr. Doolittle," (Rex Harrison) and "Fire Power" (Sophia Loren), were shot here. It's because this gorgeous shore, just south of Castries along the central western coast, is idyllic Caribbean: complete with swaying...More

Pretty little bay nestled in a cove on the Caribbean....the only beach access(if you arent staying in a resort) is by a short ferry (or swim) across to the other side of the little marina they have there. The beach is not big and fairly...More

Take a taxi from the pier who offers a short tour. You'll go here and a few other places for much much cheaper than organized tours or ship excursions. This was a breath taking view.

Just went there for the day and yes was nice to look at but took over 40mins by water taxi on rough waters. Not a great ride. The bay was nice to look at but waters are murky because of bay with stagnant waters and...More

Went here on a sailboat cruse with Endless Summer Cruises out of Rodney Bay. Lovely little restaurant with nice fish. Interesting history in terms of French English fleets and the movie Dr Doolittle, which was filmed here. A bit built up, but if you eat...More

No matter your vantage point, the views are just stunning. The water is a crystal clear turquoise, with a lush green backdrop. The mood is relaxed and inviting. Marigot Bay is a bit pricey, but you'll have little to none "salesman" pestering you. You can...More

Hi- My husband and I are arriving in St. Lucia on a cruise in Feb 2017. We have done a complete island tour with Cosol Tours a couple years ago, so we are looking for a nice beach for the day. How would you recommend getting to this beach from the cruise port? Are there chairs and umbrellas and food available? did you use a tour or taxi service. Thank you for any information.

We actually did not go on the 'regular" beach in Marigot Bay which requires taking a water taxi to the other side. Instead we took an afternoon boat tour one day and from our villa walked to a cove. We had confirmed rental... More
what's the best cost effective way to get from the airport to Marigot Bay? I understand it is 1-1.5 hours ride away.

Taxi or Limo is best way. The airport is just a long way from everything.
