What I especially like about this beach is that it is not accessible by road, only by sea or a Good 20 mins. hike along a beautiful narrow and rough path, often clouded with butterflies and the odd Iguana can be seen in the bushes. No bars or restaurants or T shirts for sale. All the moorings are Free and... More

Was at Colombier a few times over the holiday period. It has unfortunately turned into a very busy beach. ~50 boats on an average day anchor in the cove, many playing loud music. Many are "party tours" that originate from neighboring islands. Lot's of people on the beach altogether. A favorite of local teens. If you want to see the... More

When people say it's a hike to get to this beach, ITS A HIKE! You can make it in flip flops but I wish I had worn sneakers. It's a good 25 minute hike that's very steep. There are sections with log steps that help. We were disappointed when we got to the beach. It was not worth the hike... More

Family of 4 travelling with 2 teens. Beautiful secluded beach without the crowds. Little shade and no facilities, so plan ahead. We accessed the beach from a boat, so we hiked up the trail from the beach. Great view at the top with tortoises along the side of the road. Worth the hike!

I have snorkeled quite a lot in my life but this will remain one of my favorite sites because of the tranquility of the place, the ABUNDANCE of different fish, the beauty of the coral...only mistake was coming down the hill (really painful) instead of taking the path from the flamingo beach...much easier road but not indicated at all.

Bring decent footwear for a modest hike along the hills up and around to an idyllic setting in a small harbor. Well worth the effort!

Absolutely beautiful beach with few people. It is a hike to get to it about 20/25 minutes. Once you arrive it is breathtaking. Go for a picnic...what a serene experience.. There is no cover from the sun so come prepared.

Colombier is a very quiet and beautiful beach. The trek is very nice and easy (20-25 minutes from the parking area), with earth turtles, snails, birds and other nice animals to watch, on top of wonderful views over Anse des Flamands et Petite Anse. There are almost no waves in Colombier and some snorkeling is possible near the rocks. If... More

There were only half a dozen spots available for the parking area at the beginning of the trail. Be aware of the people that own houses close to the parking area, they are very impatient and are not understanding if you get lost or confused while trying to find the parking area. So to the beach experience, the climb down... More
