Climb to the top is a great way to see the island from up high. Excellent views on the way up. There are steps in the steeper places. It's a strenuous hike, but not too much for a 50+ year old. Unfortunately the top was in clouds by the time we got up there. We still saw a lot below... More

The hike to the top of Mount Scenery, which is not only the highest point on Saba, but also the highest point in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, is quite challenging. The last part on the Mt Scenery stairway is very slippery and gets very muddy at the very end (with ankle-deep mud). I would therefore recommend sturdy hiking boots... More

The difference in the climate at this height was amazing versus at sea level. Very lush and tropical.

The first time I went up it was clear blue. When you are all the way up you receive a nice scenery. The second time was foggy up on the top and you don't see a thing. The path up is nice but can be slippery when wet. It took us about 1,5 hour to reach the top and 45... More

Not for the causal walker. But the view from the highest point in the Netherlands was awesome and worth the tough hike😎 😎😎😎

We started this hike from our hotel (Queens Garden Resort). I can't possibly tell you how we made - we just kept following trails... up! It took us about 2.5 hours in total to get to the top. The first part was basically jungle, which varied from moderate inclines to quite steep where we needed lines to help with the... More

There are awesome views at the top! And the flora on the way up is spectacular. Take your time hiking because some of the coolest animals and flowers can be seen on this hike! The trail is steep and can be extremely slippery. Don't go without trekking poles! And Teva shoes at we're some of the slipperiest, but Walmart sneakers... More

The hike was fairly challenging for me, but it was well worth it. We went early in the morning since it was cool. It was gorgeous as we hiked through the clouds and saw all the colorful wildlife. Can't wait to do it again.

This really is your climb. I personally called it a death march as you climbed higher and higher on unevenly placed steps past surprising buildings and randoms animals, like cows. I understand the view is spectacular but I off loaded early on to take care of a 7 year old (amen).
