I think the roads have just very recently been fixed. Lots of sections of fresh concrete. The roads weren't that bad at all. The worst is right at the end, we would have driven right down to the new beach, but it looked a little...More

This place was not easy to find. After a few wrong turns and help from friendly locals, we found it. The views were well worth the trip. The coast road has several good vantage points for photographing ocean vistas.

Honestly, it is just a viewing platform for the volcano. But there is parking, a few picnic tables, and fixed free binoculars. What makes this a '5'. Lets start with easy and ample parking, extra clean facilities, well-tended tables and deck, and a great view....More

Clean environment which gives one a clear view of the volcano, and neighboring islands of Antigua, and Guadeloupe to some extent. The pyroclastic fan which destroyed Montserrat’s airport can be seen from this area. Noise from non natural sources is almost totally absent.

The old road from little bay is in bad condition but with a jeep you can drive to the view point and look over the destruction caused by the volcano. It's hard to believe that the airport lies hurried in the ash and bolder field...More
