This "rock" is actually a small island not far off shore where soldiers lived and stored assets to protect the shore from invasion. Today it is a nature preserve and is not open to the public. You can dive below the rock. The best part...More

The long beach is OK, but not very clean and there is not much shade. The view from the beach towards Diamond Rock is beautiful. It is more a beach for walking.

We made a trip to Le Diamant to see it from the shore and discovered an awesome little town with excellent restaurant near the pier but for Diamond Rock itself it was a boat ride that made its whole glory visible to us. As the...More

We viewed this Rock from L'Anse Canard. You can, however, take a boat out to the actual rock on the boating trip Scheherazade. We sadly did not have enough time to do this. It is an easy 1/2 day trip from Trois Islets harbor to...More

We spent a few hours here when driving around the island. Definitely worth the drive, very nice beach and view, not crowded at all as we thought before going there. Waves are a bit rough so maybe not for the younger children. Town seemed nice...More

Imposing and impressive landmark with shocking historical event--a British slave trader shipwrecked here in the early 1800's.

Diamond Rock offers a nice setting on a attractive coast. Worth a stop when touring around. We did not visit the rock itself.

Its exactly what you would expect - a rock. But this one is really cool! I suggest you find out more about its history. Its fun.
