Great views of the big island. Snorkeling is rest for turtles. Local people love fishing here. I enjoy it at sunset. There are always turtles out under the pier.

We stopped at Mosquito Pier after seeing the 375 year old Ceiba Tree. It was a rainy morning and we didn't feel like climbing in to snorkel but we could tell the snorkeling there would be awesome.

My family went to Vieques earlier this summer. We got the opportunity to snorkel every day for eight days! One great spot to dive or snorkel is the old navy pier, Mosquito Pier, or Rampeolas. If you fly to Vieques, you'll fly right over it....More

We heard this was the place to snorkel, but I would have to disagree. Go to punta arenas instead for snorkeling, or (I think) La Chiva. Its cool to stop and see, so I'm not saying don't go.

A definite must! If you are not a strong swimmer I would still go but just swim with a floatation of some sort. Best place on the island to snorkel!!

I only wanted to stop through here because it is rumored to be a great spot for snorkeling. It looked like it probably is, it's rocks and pier beams everywhere. Snorkelers were out...but as a beginner snorkeler I didn't feel comfortable going in. This used...More

I went snorkeling here with my 8 and 9 year old. We went to this very tiny beach to the left, right were the pier starts. The snorkeling was nice as we saw schools of small fish and starfish. There was one large fish that...More

My husband and I went snorkeling at Mosquito Pier and loved it! I wish we would have rented flippers so we would have felt more confident to adventure more towards the pier dock. We seen sea turtles while we were walking on the pier. We...More
