This beach is quieter than Sun Beach, and just as nice! The water is very clear and full of little fish.

Spent 2 afternoons here. Beautiful beach. Water was stunning. I suggest you take a picnic lunch and cooler with drinks. Loved this beach.

We loved our time on this beach. There are many different turn offs, so it's easy to find a place to swim alone. There are lots of Mosquitos (as of May 2017), so make sure to bring bug spray. You'll also need to bring any food, water, etc you might need for the day. The road is not the best,... More

This was my favorite beach among all the beaches we visited in Puerto Rico (including the Flamenco beach in Culebra, which was great as well). It doesn't have the facilities as Flamenco, but the water color really lives up to its name, the sand is as white and fine as it can get, plus there is almost no one. It... More

It could have been dark, coarse sand and choppy dark blue water, and we were cool because we were at the beach...Throughout years of traveling we have turned ourselves... More

Super clear water with soft sands. As it's quite far (rent a jeep to go), we were practically alone there in a Sunday.

This is very far out and therefore very secluded. It's beautiful. The isolation is excellent. Snorkeling is Ok.

Whether you scuba dive or sunbath there is no comparison. It is truly crystal clear. Be aware that there are no facilities in this part of the island (no bathrooms or potable water). The advantage of this beach is that it is normally not crowd as camping is not allowed.

The Blue Beach on Vieques in the Wildlife Refuge is known as La Chiva on the map. Once you turn into the Wildlife Refuge off of Highway 997 - you follow the signs to La Chiva. You will see the map on a board for La Chiva and it explains that pulloff spots to enjoy the sites. We drove all... More
