There wasn't a whole lot to do while walking around town with the exception of getting a cheap beer or two. The fort on does offer some exceptional views of the ocean though. Next time I visit Vieques, I will probably stay in Esperanza to...More

Friendly people, nice shops, a whole different way of life for this mid-westerner. I especially liked the wild horses roaming free all around Isabel and most of Vieques.

We went to Isabel Segunda to catch a sailing charter. There really isn't much there compared to Esperanza. The area is not very clean and we didn't find a reason to go back. I think there is a lot of potential but the area needs...More

Isabel segunda is a small town with the post office, a hardware store, a few small gift shops and some good restaurants. At first glance it looks run down but you have to remember that this is a small island. Houses are crowded together and...More

My husband and I stayed in Isabel Segunda. The town was definitely rundown. If you like to have more of a "local" feel with less tourists than this is the place for you. The town does have very good restaurants. We wished we had stayed...More

Isabel Segunda is the Vieques Island Capital city, without all the flash of a capital city. There are sights to visit but the majority of your time can be spent walking the town and enjoying a typical small town. The town is rustic, has the...More
