Must GO!

This place is one of my favorite spots in Ponce. The museum is nicely decorated and has galleries from important puertorrican artists. The restaurant is pretty good also.

Good experience overall. Easy to find with gps and has easy access parking. You can also park on the street behind the museum. There were two floors of art work tastefully displayed. They had everything spanning from the late Middle Ages to current modern art. They had several well known artists and a few even my husband, who teaches art... More

Very modern, nice building for the art displayed. Coffee shop was a welcomed break although I waited a long time to get my sandwich. Small. but good variety of artists over the years. With the empty rooms, think they could have showcased more local folks.

Both my daughter and I had read/heard independently about this art museum before our impromptu 48 hr road trip around the island landed us in Ponce on the one day it's closed. Sorely disappointed to have discovered this online the night before, we stopped by anyway, enjoyed the exterior architecture and sculpture, chatting with the staff at the cafe which... More

This is a beautiful museum. It includes pieces from different periods, and names like Peter Paul Rubens, Eugene Delacroix, among others. And the beloved and admired Flaming June. It was a lovely experience!

Been to Ponce many times before, but had never actually been to the Museo de Arte de Ponce until my last visit this past July. The exhibits and collections were definitely some of the best I've seen in any art museum, and thankfully we were allowed to take photos (without flash) so I could document many beautiful and remarkable works....
