Although a small place, the docent gentleman was very proud of the the historical Firehouse. He is informative and is very keen on recommending places to eat and see while in the city.

We went to Ponce for a family trip and we have ao much fun just walking around the plaza and visit important spots like this “parque de bombas”. I simply recommend to take photos from every spot and ask for the history details.

This was located in the center of the old town. It was free to enter. There was not much to it however. It stood out against all the other buildings on the square. 10 minutes and I was done.

It’s an absolutely beautiful building and it clearly stands out. There are a few food vendors around as well as a couple restaurants. It is very close to a shopping street where you can pick up local Porter Rican items. It’s a lot of fun...More

An 1882 building with a unique appearance....black and red. This is one of the iconic photo opps in Ponce. Peek inside (it's open) and you'll find some antique fire fighting apparatus and a hook and ladder truck from days gone by.

They have a trolley running withing certain hours of the day. But service is very limited, so you should relly on your feets to walk around the center, and your car to go to the different atractions out of the center.
