This has to be absolutely the best place to buy trinkets, souvenirs, gifts, etc. to remember your visit to Old San Juan and Puerto Rico in general. Everything in the store is locally (on the island) hand-crafted. The selection of items is outstanding... something for anyone. And truly wonderful, friendly staff! We purchased several items here and also their 'companion'... More

Ignore Starbucks and head to The Poet's Passage for the best coffee shop in Old San Juan. Restful, cool interior, great coffee and OK selection of snacks

This is a nice little tucked off spot. I was looking for coffee and I had the best caramel latte since being in San Juan. It's small but very friendly. Everyone was so nice. Even the puppy outside the door.

Cool shop with poems and gifts opposite a nice coffee shop. Just a quick visit. Worth a pop in as you might find something cute to purchase.

Took a walk thru this little shop. Full of neat "word paintings" and other treasures from PR. A great place to look around and find a little treasure.
