Great Surfing Location!

We went there for the day. There were several hubs that you could book surfing lessons. Even though I was awful at surfing I'm glad I tried it.

I went Labor Day weekend and it was not at all crowded. There is a strip of restarants and hotels all along the beach. There's not much shopping there but that's not why I went so I'm fine with that.

It's a public beach between some of the hotels in the are and have access from Ashford Street. Sand and waves are nice in this area. Clean and there is not restrooms or any water near by to clean anything

We stayed in a condo right on Condado Beach. The beach is not as wide here as at Isla Verde or others, particularly at high tide, but the water is lovely! It was pretty windy the week we stayed, and the waves were strong. Watch for rip currents. There are people who rent beach chairs and umbrellas (we paid $20... More

This is a beautiful beach to lay out on, jump the waves, or take a walk along the shore. There are no life guards and waves/current were strong every day of our visit. Continuous breezes kept us comfortable in the hot sun.

I have stayed at the Marriott and Condado Plaza Hilton. The end of the beach where the Marriott is located the beach is pretty nice with smooth sand. However, the end where the Condado Hilton is located there is a coral reef near by and you can snorkel without going out on a boat or anything! The fish are not... More

Great spot but is mostly covered in lounge chairs from the ocean front hotels. Nice beach. Strong currents though so be careful with little kids.

The Condado beach is very small and the waves while we were there were high. Not much swimming but wading and boogie boarding. It seemed you had to be staying at a hotel to get a chair or umbrella and since we were, that was very nice. Clean beach no shells.
