Two very tiny pools filled with people. The massage prices are totally inaccurate. According to them, they haven’t charged the dollar a minute rate in years. Our massage therapists Bill and Lewis were fabulous, so it made up for the misinformation, but you really should change the description. It is totally inaccurate

We ventured to Coamo for hours of relaxation. The two pools are wonderful- one at 90 degrees and the other at 108. We also had massages with Billy. He was excellent. It is a beautiful simple peaceful setting that is well-maintained and so affordable. Not very touristy which we appreciate. Natural hot water coming from the earth. So good. Highly recommend this excursion!

We drove from Ponce - nice 30 - 40 minute drive. There are only 2 small pools to visit with one hotter than the other. You can only spend 20 minutes in each pool. But there is seating around the pools to relax between soaks. The change rooms and bathrooms are clean. Entry is very inexpensive. You can stay as long as you like. It was not busy when we were there.

I didn't stay at the hotel, I just made the trip for the springs. Parking is free, pool use is affordable (I think I paid $3 per adult). There are 2 pools (warm & REALLY HOT). Instructions are posted near pools (in English),you must rinse before entering and you can only be in the REALLY HOT pool 15-20 minutes at a time as it is and feels that hot. The larger pool temp is more moderate. There's plenty of lounge chairs and tables with chairs, small gift shop, and bathrooms with changing facilities. Overall it is not a large place. The waters are thermal/naturally filtered and you will smell sulfur in the air, this is normal. My family and I enjoyed however I wouldn't plan this as a whole day type of trip. A couple hours or half day is sufficient.

I didn't know what to expect when I first heard about the thermal spa. I thought it would be some water in a hot tub. The drive alone to get here was worth it. To the left of me was the ocean and to the right of me was mountains. The hotel attached to the springs was devistated by Hurricaine Maria and closed for renovations. The "parking lot" had been washed out and the grass and trees that used to surround this tranquil spot were flattened. On first look, there are two "pools". One hotter than the other. You are required to shower before getting into the pools to prevent contamination. Yes, it looks touristy..... Signs with inspirational messages everywhere. Soft music over the speakers. Signs that say don't talk about politics and religion. It does have a bathroom with changing facilities. It costs three dollars to enter the pools which is well worth it. My boyfriend, who was manufactured on the island, told me I was going to have a full body massage. I was hesitant. One, I'd never had a professional massage, second I don't speak Spanish. He set it up and I was told to go have a relaxing time in the pools before they would be ready for me for my massage. I can't tell you the way it feels to get into the "hot pool" for the first time. There is a slight smell of sulfur that you quickly get used to. I sat in the hot pool for about ten minutes. Mind you, I LOVE a hot bath. This is a hot bath that never goes cold. It's a constant heat that just makes you relax and forget the world. All the while you are looking at the beautiful mountains that surround you with a cool ocean breeze. Anyway, I was called for my massage. The beautiful young lady who did mine didn't look like much. She didn't speak much English and I don't speak much Spanish. Yet we communicated well. The room was cool and relaxing. I don"t want to give too much away about the massage but this girl knew what she was doing! I didn't know how bad I was until she started. My first massage and I have to say I am sore as I am typing this but in a I worked out hard today and my muscles are sore kinda way. Sixty minute, full body massage, and when I say full body I mean it! From the roots of my hair down to my toes! This girl was AMAZING!!!! Yes this spring has been made for tourists. But the spirit of the pools and the great staff made this and experience. Not just another stop on the Puerto Rico tourist trap. Go, relax, and get the massage! You won't regret it. Let the spirit of the island overtake any tourist notions you have and enjoy. I haven't been this relaxed in years!

We stopped here on the way from San Juan to Ponce and I'm glad we did. We only spent about an hour there, but it was totally worth it. It only costs about $3 per person for the entire day (if you can stand the heat long enough to stay all day). There are two pools, one that's cooler (around 95-100 degrees) and the hot pool (about 110 degrees). Worth making a quick detour if you have the time!

We love hot springs and that is one reason we picked Puerto Rico to spend two weeks. There is two pools, one about 20 feet by 20 feet and another about 9 feet by 12 feet. The big one is a little hotter that you bath water and the smaller one is really hot. I would guess about 104 degrees. There is a hotel there also but it was not a lot of people there. There is WIFI free and snack bar. Also bathrooms and changing rooms. It is located at Coamo and if you have a Garmin you will need it. Over all we like it and if we go back to PR we will visit it again. By the way everyone was very friendly. I am from the USA and a tip not very many people speak English. Stopping asking for directions is hard to find anyone who speaks English.

They have done a really nice job building this place but after 1.5 hour drive from Humacao, I was kind of disappointed. The place is packed with locals who come for the whole day and treat the place like a public swimming pool. There is no information about the water, what minerals it contains, etc. and I have some suspicions that it is little more than heated tap water especially since one pool is 25 degrees hotter than the other and is only 20 feet away. I am also skeptical about the level of sanitation since one pool was very cloudy and the other was crystal clear.

What a hidden gem- $3/person for a day of lounging in the sun and taking dips in two separate pools. One felt just a bit warmer than body temperature. The second was pretty hot. The water just felt so soft and luxurious. We did not splurge for a massage, but felt quite pampered.

It is a shame that I'm living in Puerto Rico and never visited this wonderful place before. Its a 1 1/2 hour trip from San Juan. I stayed in the golf view apartments as a Holly weekend vacation. The spectacular and well relaxing pools also had a spa .It has two hot pools, one hotter than the other one . Facilities are clean and in good condition. Just 3 dollars per entrance, definitely I will come back soon
