About
This famous Jamaican beach in Negril—once plagued by pirates—is now a popular spot for sun-seekers and beach lovers. The seven-mile stretch of stunning white sand beach has plenty of bars and restaurants, plus clear waters that are great for snorkeling—just remember to watch out for stingrays! You can also take a glass-bottom boat tour over the turquoise waters. Stick around for the breathtaking sunset over the Caribbean. Consider staying at a seaside resort to experience all that the area has to offer, including its vibrant nightlife. If you're short on time, the beach is also a great stop on a day tour from Montego Bay. – Tripadvisor

    Tranquil
Seven Mile beach is clean quiet and pristine. Water sports are available along the shore. Rustic and modern hotels line the beach but it is never crowded or loud. You will be approached by sellers for fresh fruit, massages, coconut, and other things. Great food and music. I dined at Miss Lily's for dinner one night and had a beach massage and lunch another day. It's a must-see and do for anyone who loves coming to Jamaica.

    7 Miles of Heaven
One of the most vibrant beaches in the world! Alive with tourists, local beach vendors, Jamaican children and so much action. Beautiful white sand and crystal clear blue water. Awesome restaurants and bars to visit for food and drink. Check out Tony's Hut and have a drink, play a game or just relax Mon. Love this place.

    Very Beautiful and Calm Beach!
I have looked up Seven Mile Beach and the Skylark Negril Beach Resort before we arrived to Jamaica and saw all these stunning videos of beautiful seethrough and peaceful waters... and was wondering whether this is just on that video and whether it will look like this during our stay.... So we stay here 4 nights/5 days and despite storms/thunderstorms etc. the water always remained this peaceful and this seethrough! One of the most peaceful shorelines I have seen ever as even the Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos during the initial stay was "still" and dreamlike and yet during another attempt was wild and crazy :) There are series of small to bigger hotels along the shoreline, lots of vendor huts/restaurants and of course vendors on foot trying to sell everything from snacks/bracelets to weed and the like :) it's Jamaica, one love right? :) TIP: Noseeums aka sea flies do arrive around sunset so plan accordingly - we usually watched the sunset from the property to get away from the sand - during day time this did not seem to be a problem, also never any seaweed was a nice bonus as well!

    HEAVEN
Seven Mile Beach is like dying and going to heaven. The clearest and calmest water with multiple shades of blue as far as the eye can see. Yes, there are some vendors but if you tell them "No thank you" they keep on walking. Do not miss the opportunity to talk to some of these wonderful and genuine people. Jamaica has some of the most humble and nicest people out of all the places I have visited. Great for singles, couples and family.

    Pretty Beach
Look I came all the way from Montego Bay to get to a wonderful beach the resort beach sucked. We booked with tcjtours to take us out for the day we know the beach is expansive roughly 5 miles long so they are ways to enter the beach . We stayed particular at the board walk for about 2 hrs which was less crowded then we went to margativille theres lots of water sport activites to decide on and there is a cataraman that goes out i think its at 2 pm . We also went to see Ricks Cafe for the sunset . This place is easy to fall in love with and no thank you to local sellers is all you need to do and ensure you are at a private spot since the beach is section off security and staff will ensure nobody is bothering you . If you are at the free entry spots your on your own to understand the local language . As well as staff the private drivers will always advise of the best spots . Its worth a day trip in my opinion and the best thing too is ship cruise dont visit the area .

    A Perfect Beach!
Flat out one of the best beaches in Jamaica. Love that entry access is free. The vendors will walk up the shore peddling food and tours. Just say no thank you and they keep it moving. But spend plenty of hours out here, and soak up as much sun as you can stand. Tey to catxh the sunset if you can. Also, some sections of the beach & sea are off limits to post up chairs and umbrellas, as they are beachfront property for some of the hotels. However, you can walk up & down the entire beach as much as you'd like. If you want more chairs and drinks/food, you can slide down to the Margaritaville section and enjoy it all. Finding parking can be iffy, as you might have to park on the street and walk over, as lots are small.

    Best beach experience!
I experienced 7 mile beach during my stay at the Westender Inn. They had a deal with Whistling Bird and we could get dropped off there and use their private beach. It was amazing and the staff there treated us like we were guests of their own. We got a glass bottom boat ride from Mr. Vincent at a phenomenal price and for just a little more, my sister was able to go snorkeling and Mr. Vincent provided a guided tour in the water himself! Beautiful place and the water was amazing, cool, calm and clear. Like an enormous swimming pool.

Jamaica Negril 7 mile Beach ⛱️
Definitely picked the best location, if you like a great stretch of beach. Miles of white sandy beach, hotel situated on the beach front. Put plenty of insect repellent on in the evening if your planing to spend time on the beach partying or watching the sunset.

    Beautiful, soulful place!
We stayed in an airbnb across the street from Country Country near Margaritaville and had an amazing time!! Our daughter loved playing in the water trampolines at Margaritaville and the water was so beautiful. We caught three different amazing live bands in three days and really enjoyed walking the beach. There were tons of options for food and drink. We didn't find the sellers to be an issue, they accepted our smiles and no thanks. We would love to return! We felt plenty safe while we were here and when we stayed in a local neighborhood in the West End.

    The walk from heaven!
Got a taco from one end of the beach and walked to the other end where our hotel was (Couples Negril). Not for the faint hearted in the hottest part of the day- take lots of sun cream and water, but we had a lovely time! Few bars along the way, even brought a roadside coconut to drink and carried on going. So many bars and loads of lovely people. And of course- the beach!!!
