Very unique bar experience. You have to take a boat out to the shanty structure built on a sandbar. They will cook you a fish dinner that is excellent and the beers are always cold and refreshing. You can sit and chat with the owner or other visitors, play checkers or just sit on a walkway and enjoy the beautiful... More

Must do! You will take a fishing boat to the middle of the ocean to have drinks and eat fresh caught fish...it can't get any better than that!

Seriously we had an almost 2 hour drive ($30 pp from Negril) and then went to a bar in Parottee and found a local fisherman for the 25 minute boat ride ($10pp) to the COOLEST bar in the world! Floyd welcomed us, we got a cold Red Stripe, hopped in the water and had a great time. Awesome to check... More

We went today with a group ranging from 17-78. I would not recommend this tour for individuals with mobility issues as the elderly person in our group was unable to safely make it up to the bar. You will take a boat put costing about 20$ per person round trip for a 15 minute host ride. The bar itself is... More

We rented a driver from Negril to Pelican Bar for the day. It is about a two hour drive. He dropped us off at treasure beach where we paid a boat driver $20 US to drive us out to the bar. The boat was a bit of a struggle. It keeps stalling and drifting but we made it! The bar... More

How often do you get to sit in the middle of the sea in basically a "treehouse" bar and sip Red Stripe while watching stingrays swim beneath your feet? This was truly a one-of-a-kind experience where you could see the best part about Jamaica. The staff at Pelican Bar are really energetic and fun people. Would definitely recommend this to... More

This is something that if you go to Jamaica should be on your bucket list. Great atmosphere, friendly locals and one of the best parts I liked was being able to stand in the ocean and drink a few beers talking with other patrons who made the boat ride out to the bar. I got to meet Floyd and got... More

Out on the ocean, on stilts, sits the Pelican Bar. You can only get here by boat, but it's worth the waves! Somehow they had ice cold Red Stripe, unlimited sun, and amazing company. We were able to sit back, relax, enjoy several beers, and have great conversations with people from all over the world. What an unforgettable experience! There's... More
