If you’re wondering whether to book fun tours Jamaica, then I can say that I too had questions and did my research and I’m really happy that we booked fun tours Jamaica with Owen who was our guide for the day. Owen was a really great guy and I was really happy to have an air-conditioned vehicle with lots of space for myself husband and two teenage boys. we had some idea of the types of things we like to do but wanted a local tour operator who knew the area we could show us the less crowded places of Jamaica and Owen did not disappoint. We went Whitewater rafting, toured Montego Bay with a stop at “the pork pit” Jerk restaurant, which we highly recommend. All in all it was a great day and a great way to travel as a family with a local who is happy to chat and tell us all about life here in Jamaica. This was a short excursion from Falmouth, the royal carribean cruise port, however we did not book through Royal Caribbean. We went to local operators for this tour. Why? we’ve always had really great experiences going direct with local operators. I don’t often post but I had a great time with this company.

What a fun day! We took a full daynprivate guided tour with Owen as our driver/guide, and he did a great job. He asked what types of things or places interested us, and we took off from Falmouth to Ocho Rios. Along the way Owne shared all sorts of information about the area as well as history, We made a few photo stops, went to the Blue Hole for a walk, stopped for Patties, drove through the fern grotto and did a bit of shopping. What makes this type of tour great isnthatbyou can tailor it to see just what you want, for as long or dhort a time as you want.

We had a great day with our driver Shane & tour guide Wonicia! They were both friendly, open & happy to share Jamaica with us. We toured Falmouth a bit & learned about the area. We got hours at the beach too. Also, when one part of the group wanted to go back to the ship, they took us to a local place to eat & shop for souvenirs. They wanted to make sure we had a great time, said so & checked in frequently. We felt incredibly special & can whole heartedly recommend them as people & tour guides. We had a lovely time!

Owen did a great job on this private tour. We love private tours to avoid the only as fast as the slowest person group excursions. We got to see all kinds of north side sights. We had a very good Jerk Jamaican stop for lunch at Pork pit. Highly recommend this tour and group and Owen !!!! He was very helpful with what we wanted to see and suggestions.

Our guide Shemar is the best guide I’ve ever met!
He took us to wherever we planned to go and he also gave many suggestions and took us to places that only the locals know.
Roads in Jamaica isn’t perfect but he’s a perfect driver and the bus is good condition.
The views are wonderful and the food is superb.
Will come back again! Hope to have Shemar as our guide again!

We purchased a full day private driver/guide and Shemar was amazing! He had phenomenal recommendations to make the most of our day, and he possesses an absolute wealth of knowledge! We really enjoyed our conversations with him, and left feeling we’d made a friend in Jamaica. Of the 3 excursions we took on our cruise, this was by far the best, and that’s because of our guide. Thank you, Shemar, for a spectacular Christmas Day!

Had a great day with our 6 hours private driver Stennett and tour guide Asania! We got to go to Dunns River Falls with brief and interesting history lessons along the way while taking beautiful photos of Jamaica’s scenery. Afterwards we ate some local cuisine recommended by our guides and it was delicious. They were great at driving us around Jamaica and were very friendly with great personalities! I highly recommend taking a private tour with this company.

Went to Blue Hole, the experience was quite disappointing. After the long drive to Blue Hole we got out, were told to leave everything behind only only proceed with swim shorts then were rushed down a hill right to cliff jump into the water then rushed to a second jump Tarzan style into a second pond. Then rushed back up the hill to the van and we left. We had no time to sight see, take photos, or enjoy the natural beauty. The Blue Hole Spring that is in all the pictures, we didn't even get to see. We wanted to see and enjoy the natural beauty... The swimming was not as important to us. After that we the tour guides skipped Ocho Rios which was on the excursion description... We were supposed to stop for lunch and shopping in Ocho Rios we instead went to a road side diner for some Jerk Chicken and then stopped at a sketchy souvenir shop that sold gas station souvenirs, cigars and liquor. We also were not able to take many pictures because we had to leave our phones in the car. Make sure you wear water shoes for walking on wet rocks while very fast current races past your legs and feet.

Really bad. Promoted to be a tour of Montego Bay Area but actually was a 20 minute drive to a souvenir shop, a 20 minute stay at the souvenir shop and a 20 minute drive to a private beach that charges $6. We were told that the tour would be three hours and a one hour visit to the beach but we were left at the beach for three hours. No museum, no plantations, no sugar fields, no tour. If we wanted a beach trip we would have signed on to a beach trip, we wanted a tour like the ones offered at most cruise docking sites. We will not likely visit Jamaica again, this was out opportunity to see Montego Bay and we didn’t get to do that.

I apologize that the beach break tour you did not meet your satisfaction. Our aim is always to make sure our customers are 110% happy with our service. In April/May we were slowly returning from the effects of Covid. Some cruise lines also had restrictions and guests were restricted from booking activities not sold by the cruise lines, which intended to contain the spread of Covid. That decision limits the number of days that some attractions that were not on the approved list were open to the public. The Museum was just beginning to reopen and was closed during your visit for small refurbishing. A tour of the museum is 45 minutes of the allotted time. The beach break tour does include 3 hours of beach time and approximately 2 hours of highlight- which should include 20 minutes of shopping time, a tour of the museum and Sam Sharpe square, and the parish church, which is essential to our history.
Whenever you visit Jamaica again, please reach out to us, we will offer you a complimentary tour and private airport transfer if you are visiting a resort. This offer has no expiration date.

I went to Benta fall with Funtours, I had such a wonderful time, friends and family loved it aswell
The guide was professional, the falls was beautiful. Kids and even older adults can do it. It was not as intense and crowded as Dunn's River. Loved it!!!!!
