Situated on the historic 4,000 acre Rose Hall Estate, and sited on 200 acres of lush greenery and rolling countryside, The White Witch Golf Course is carved from the rolling countryside of Jamaica’s historic Rose Hall Plantation and is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Robert von Hagge and Rick Baril. This 6,758-yard, Par 71 treasure is named for the plantation’s beautiful but wicked 19th century plantation mistress, Annee Palmer.

Legend has it that Annee’s ghost still haunts the estate, creating an alluring mystique that has fascinated island natives and visitors for generations. Rated as the #1 Golf Course and #1 in Golf Shop Staff service by Conde Nast Traveler and winner of "Jamaica's Best Golf Course" title at the 2015 World Golf Awards, the White Witch is considered one of the finest golf courses in the Caribbean, characterized by mountainous terrain, cool trade winds, colorful foliage and spectacular ocean views from 16 of its 18 holes.

We played all three of the Montego Bay golf courses. This was the first time that we played the white witch. We had high expectations since it is rated the #1 course in Jamaica. We were left a little disappointed. The staff were very friendly and were very accommodating to us. The girl in the pro shop was really nice... More

The White Witch is without question the most beautiful course I've ever played - and I play about 40 courses every year as a retired golf junkie. You will see the blue Caribbean waters from most holes, with elevation changes that make you feel like you're on an Olympic bobsled run. Down hill shots are VERY satisfying! The knowledgeable and... Great course. Definitely challenging. Beautiful club house. Great caddies- ask for Shawnee or Nadia. They are encouraging and knowledgeable.

I just returned from a 10 day stay in Montego Bay and had the priviledge of playing 3 rounds of golf at White Witch. The course provides the most breathtaking views. As you the off hundreds of feet above the fairway on many holes you are looking at the Carribean sea. Incredible. The golf course is in fabulous condition offering... More

This course is old, but well kept up and maintained. Course was challenging, the view all around the course was great. It had lots of history. Lots of old aqueduct's that used to be used for sugar cane back when Jamaica was first discovery by the English. A few holes are right along the ocean and offer up just an... More

Golf White Witch If you only get time to play one round in Montego Bay, play the White Witch. With 16 of the 18 holes having sea view you will need as much time to consider what shot to take next on the course and your camera. The driving range is spectacular, launching ball of the side of a cliff... More

The course has some unbelievable views and was a pleasure to play. I have to say, I thought I knew how to read some greens but the caddies were spot on all the putts. Be ready to how to keep the ball low into the wind as it gets very breezy there! Enjoy your visit there as it truly is... More

When this course opened under Ritz-Carlton ownership, it was the Best of the Best......After the sale and closing of the Ritz.....the course went into disarray and was even closed for a while....The course itself as it is now is in tremendous shape again......But....the lack of play (maybe due to being off-season) in seems has made all the great Caddies that... Played a round here in late November. This was my first time playing the witch but a buddy of mine had said it was a must do - he was right. Practically every hole was picturesque and they were all fun to play. A very challenging course. The course conditions were a little sub par as most of the greens... More
