This was such a gorgeous beach. I have never seen such a breathing beach in all my travels. This was memorable because the beach was so sparse of tourists it felt like we had it to ourselves. Water sports and activities can be done here...More
We took the water taxi which is right next to the cruise port to Grand Anse Beach. The cost is $10pp round trip.
The beach is beautiful, the chairs run about $20-$25 for 2 with an umbrella.
There was little to no vendors to bother...More
We left the cruise ship and got on the water taxi to the left of the terminal. $10pp for a return trip to Grand Anse beach. You get a plastic ticket that you give back on the return.
On arrival to the beach you are...More
This was a very pleasant beach with clean white sand and relatively clear water on a cloudy evening. The back drop was some old resorts that were not that impressive. Overall a pleasant beach but not up there with the best in the world for scenery...More
Anse beach is a short water taxi way from the main harbour and it cost $10 return for each person. When we arrived at a pontoon on the beach we walked to the left handside of the beach as there was free wifi which was...More
The Grand Ande Beach is absolutely spectacular. Calm, warm waters, an incredably white, fine sand, is just perfect for a walk or just sitting and relaxing watching the sea, the sunset or people around.
Many hotels around or, simple quioks selling soft drinks or beer....More
A touch of Paradise. The name of the best beach chair rental on Grans Anse. It is located under the big palm just to the right of the bridge where guests from the big cruise ships are put off in the small local boats and...More
wow, got to be the best beach we have been on. Quiet and beautiful. Soft sand and turquoise sea, what more could you want. Called in on cruise and went across by water taxi. Saw turtles hatching and scurrying to the sea. What a moment....More
I probably went to this beach on non cruise days, and the beach was pretty much empty on a warm afternoon. It was a nice time to relax. There were no vendors selling trinkets. The beach is close to the city of St. George's. Lots...More
A beautiful white sand beach with nice calm water. There are a few trees that give shadow. Most hotels offer sunbeds.
A part off the beach is crowded with sunbeds and people from cruiseschips. But most of the beach is not busy. There are several...More

Yes!-take your snorkel gear! Grand anse does not have the best snorkeling in relation to other areas of Grenada, but the water is beautifully clear and aqua and it's fun to swim the length of the beach. In front of Savvy's there are artificial reefs to swim to. Then there is the statue park-not grand anse, but you can take a boat there from grand anse. Try snorkeling at Magazine beach-little rougher water but more to see.
